About the event

6:00 pm - DRUM WORKSHOP AND PERFORMANCE with Dian Oury Bah.  All ages welcome!  Drums provided.

Dian is a master drummer from Guinea, Africa, who currently lives in Saranac Lake where he heads up the musical group Badenyah Drum & Dance. He leads workshops in schools throughout North Country, where he focuses on learning by listening.

7:00 pm FLAME THE BAND

Flame is a high-energy 9-person band that plays classic American covers and originals.  Flame consists of talented members who happen to have disabilities.  Formed in 2003, they gained popularity from their appearances on Good Morning America and in People Magazine. They perform over 70 concerts per year.

Flame’s mission is to change the world through music. They inspire people with disabilities and give hope to them and their families – hope that they can do great things and live a fun and fulfilling life. Flame’s performances help change how the public perceives people with disabilities and increase the awareness and acceptance of all people, regardless of their differences.
